Respect

This sample assembly is designed to be used with all years in KS3/4

Young adults are accused of a lack of respect on a regular basis by the media. This assembly looks at the concept and understanding of respect.

The assembly is designed to be approx. 30 minutes in length, however, feel free to amend or adapt the resources as you require.

Key sections include:
  • Challenge the concept of respect
  • Discuss whether respect is earned or automatic
  • How young people deal with the generalisation of a "lack of respect"
  • How they are treated by adults
