Primary resources based around the fundamental British Values

Lesson resources within this section are designed to be used with Years 5 & 6.  Assemblies, are suitable for a whole school audience.

The resources themselves do not particularly focus on radicalisation or extremism, but are more based around the fundamental British Values, particularly highlighting Tolerance, Respect and Acceptance.

Each resource has a PowerPoint with delivery notes attached along with any worksheets that are required.

All the resources are provided FREE of charge and have been developed by the Prevent Education Officer in Blackburn with Darwen in Lancashire.

Once registered, you have unlimited access to downloads and may adapt the resources to suit your own needs.

Gender Stereotyping

This sample lesson is designed to be used with years 5 & 6.

Young people are exposed to more and more stereotypes around their gender on a daily basis, this is especially prevalent in social media and entertainment.

The lesson is designed to be approx. 1 hour in length, however, feel free to amend or adapt the resources as you require. (adaptation is only possible after registration)
