Resources to promote tolerance and help prevent extremism and radicalisation

iPrevent have developed and wide range of resources including, lessons, assemblies and safe space discussion topic areas for you to download and use completely FREE!

These resources have been designed by the Prevent Education Officer from Blackburn with Darwen in Lancashire and are tried and tested with all age groups. Several of the resources have been recognised as good practice.

They cover areas around British values and others including Tolerance, Respect, Stereotyping, Fake News, the power of the Online Image.

All resources have a PowerPoint with suggested delivery notes, along with copies of any worksheets that you may need.

Primary

Lesson resources in this section are designed to be used with Years 5 and 6. They are based around the fundamental British Values, particularly highlighting Tolerance, Respect and Acceptance.

Secondary

Secondary resources are based around either assembly delivery or "Safe Space Discussion". Topic areas range from Extremism to British Values.

Youth Organisations

Youth Group resources are based “Safe Space Discussion” topic areas, with prompt slides. Topic areas range from Extremism to British Values.
